Window Shoppers....

Stephen LOVES Christmas! I know most people do but he really really gets into it every year. Tonight we were going to eat dinner at Olive Garden with a quick pit stop into the mall to get Stephen a new phone cover and just happened to walk through Macy's and there Christmas Tree Extravaganza! She was in heaven and so was he. We had already purchased all of our "ornaments of the year" and were seriously only looking tonight. She found several ornaments similar to the one she had already chosen this year and kept asking "Is this for Addison's tree" and we would say "No you already have one" this silly grin would appear and she would answer back "OH yea! I'm funny"! What a kid (I really was there too! It's just more often than not I am the photographer)

Sara Beth Fielden and Justin Turner's Wedding

Here comes the bride....... Here comes the bride!
Today was Sara Beth's wedding and the first wedding that Addison has ever attended. She has been to several receptions but I just didn't feel she was wedding ready until now. Addison loves to play dress-up and be the princess and all that comes with those roles so when I told her this was Sara Beth's princess day she was on board! All day we talked about how we had to be very quiet while the preacher was talking and that we couldn't talk to Sara Beth until princess time was over (the reception). She was jazzed about the whole day, I packed her a small back-pack of snacks, kelly dolls, crayons and a doodle pad ~ she was set! Addison was quiet as a mouse the whole ceremony and couldn't take her eyes off the bridesmaids as they came down the isle then the Princess came and Mr. Bruce too! As soon as she saw Sara Beth she looked at Stephen and said "look daddy oh weee sissy how pitty" (all the kids call Sara Beth "Sissy"). The ceremony was georgeous and the food at the reception was Yum-O - Williamson Brother's BBQ. Addison and Emma Grace danced the reception up! We all had a fantastic time and Sara Beth was truly the Princess of the Evening

Her latest find!

Addison has found a new favorite game to play in her room, she gets inside her closet tells you "bye-bye" and closes the door behind her. Hummmm..... she has a great outdoor playhouse but maybe just maybe Santa will bring her some kind of indoor playhouse. Maybe? I think all little girls long for their own little place to nest. I can remember playing under my bed with the sheet pulled down on both sides to make walls and I would use a flash-light so I could see all my stuff. My brothers use to play under our front porch and dig dirt tunnels with their matchbox cars and G.I. Joe men (boys.... Yuck!) I snapped a quick video of Addison and her new apartment lastnight.

Wii Tournament Round 1

Our really good friends the Flournoy's met us at Moe's tonight for dinner and then back to our house for dessert and Wii fun! The gauntlet of video game war has been thrown down and here we go. To start off we were going to play our new Wii Resort game but I did not read the instructions correctly and see that you also needed to purchase these "motion" controller adapters and therefore the game was no good to us tonight, so we mini-golfed and played lawn darts. It was a lot of fun but a little un organized seeing as how we only had 2 controllers, one num-chuck and no motion adapter things we had to take turns and that was lame-o but the girls had fun running wild while we played on. Next time you see a post about a Wii tournament it will be sword fighting and boxing too cause we have all the needed supplies now and the gauntlet was thrown again :)
